I've repaired, restored and modified hundreds of PXL's over the last 25 years. My modified PXL 2000 cameras are employed by film studios worldwide. THIS CAMERA HAS BEEN FULLY MODIFIED TO WORK WITH EXTERNAL RECORDERS, IT NO LONGER RECORDS TO CASSETTE TAPES. My cameras are as easy to operate as a non-modified Pxl.

Why do I restore them? Because at this point they all need restoration in order to fully work. An internal signal amp that allows you to record the PXL image with. Any DIGITAL CAMCORDER OR DEVICE that accepts analog input.

I have professionally restored and cleaned this cam back to like new condition OTHER THAN THE HEADS WHICH WERE NO LONGER OPERABLE. I've also performed other maintenance to ensure that it works GREAT. I've added several new features which render these effects. 1 Light level knob that allow the user to either lighten or darken the image, simply turn the knob left or right to dial it in to your taste.

This is a fantastic control that helps to get the shot you want even in less than perfect lighting. 2 Body contacts that when touched freeze the image on the frame, the sound keeps rolling and interesting blurs can be caught, provides many very useful effects in real time. 3 RCA audio and video output jacks to allow you to record to an external device.
