Vintage movie camera "Screen-3" 1960s USSR. Screen 3 Russian USSR Soviet vintage 8mm film with revolving lenses.
Nice item in your collection. The amateur film camera "Screen-3" has been produced since 1964 by the Kazan Optical and Mechanical Plant (KOMZ).
The camera was created on the basis of the "Ekran" model and is its upgraded version. In addition to the main lens, the camera has a turret with 2 attachments, a lens hood and a viewfinder lens.
The movie camera could have been used to make film copies. To do this, the original and unexposed film was loaded into the camera and passed through the camera mechanism through the illumination of the lens. The camera lens is a rigidly built-in coated three-lens anastigmat "Triplet" (R=12.5 mm, aperture ratio -1:2.8). It provides a good level of depth of field without additional focus at distances from 1.2 meters to infinity. The drive at the chamber is spring. The Ekran-3 movie camera has four shooting speeds: 8, 16, 24 and 48 fps and a frame-by-frame shooting mode. Cassettes with 8 mm film with a capacity of 10 meters are loaded into the camera.
